All is Calm and all is Bright, a message from Liz
As I sit here and reflect upon this season and this year, my thoughts are scattered at best. My eyes are welling up because everything is so different than it was such a short time ago, and yet so much is the same, and just now I'm realizing it's all exactly as it should be.
It's been a banner year for our little company. Albion is growing, my friends! Someone told me earlier this year, "Your little baby Albion, isn't a baby anymore." And yes, she was right. I'd like to think we're in those fun toddler years-- we've still got a TON of curiosity and a zest for life; we've learned how to walk and now are trying to RUN without tripping, and yes, we've got some growing pains to look forward to, but boy are those years fabulous!
So, I guess you could say I'm feeling overwhelmingly grateful for 2016 and wonderfully optimistic about 2017. We're in a good spot. Dave and I love what we do even though sometimes (okay all the time) we ask ourselves what the heck we've gotten ourselves into. With that said, I'm here to say: I love it all. I love the challenges, I love to find solutions to problems and I love to try new things. I love creating and teaching and learning and winning and failing and trying again, and making things better than they were before. I love meeting new people and being inspired and making women feel beautiful and confident and invincible (not, invisible). I love adding new people to our team that share our passion and make us better every day. I love where we've been and I love the vision and the HOPE I have for things to come. I love Dave, with all that I am, and I love working alongside him both at Albion and at home, as we parent our two beautiful angel daughtes. Life is hard but it is GOOD. I'm grateful and I'm hopeful.
Merry Christmas and a very happy holiday season to you each of you. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your lives.
