Hey lovelies! My name is Ariel Hamilton and I’m a fashion and lifestyle blogger over at Auteur Ariel. I also make videos on my YouTube channel, that are mostly about my dog but I also throw in some fashion and DIY stuff from time to time! I’m so excited to be guest posting on Albion Fit’s blog today and I hope you guys enjoy getting to know a little bit about me and why I love Albion!

So a little about myself: I grew up on the lovely island of Hawaii and moved to Utah when I was 17 for school. I met my husband in college and we’ve been married for a whopping 5 years now (we’re basically pros)! I’m a fur mama to the cutest little aussie pom pup named Samson and in my free time I enjoy making macrame wall hangings and binge watching The Office on Netflix. 

Growing up in Hawaii I’ve definitely worn my fair share of swimsuits. The crazy thing though is that I never owned a swimsuit (especially a one-piece) that I absolutely loved or fit my body perfectly. It wasn’t until a few years ago when I tried out an Albion Fit swimsuit that I FELL. IN. LOVE. It was The Weekender one-piece and from the moment I looked in the mirror, I was hooked. The material was amazing quality, the design was insanely cute, but the best part was that the FIT was so flattering. I felt confident, which is something I always lacked a little bit of when I wore a swimsuit.

Since then I’ve tried numerous other Albion swimsuits (all which I love), gotten to know the amazing people behind the company, and even became an "Albion Maven"—which I am sooo excited about! I recently partnered up with Albion to create a Summer Lookbook video (which you can view on my YouTube channel) where I styled four different swimsuits from their cute collections. You can take a closer look at how I styled those swimsuits below and read a little bit about why I love each suit!

OUTFIT #1: THE WAVE ONE PIECE STRIPED

I love off-the-shoulder swimsuits so it was a no brainer when I chose this one to style! The ruffle has such a flirty fun vibe so I decided to style it with a bright red neck scarf and a pair of high-waisted denim shorts! Perfect for a summer bike ride to the beach! I love this suit because it’s so versatile. You can wear the ruffle over or under your arms depending on what look you want or if you don’t want a tan line across your arm ;)

OUTFIT #2: CHANNEL STRIPE CROP TOP + HIGH WAISTED

I chose this two-piece set because it has a sporty vibe, which is totally my vibe! I love the sporty-chic look which is why I outfitted these pieces with a pair of overall shorts and sneakers. It’s an outfit you can wear when you’re chilling with your friends at the lake or at a backyard barbecue!

OUTFIT #3: THE WAIKIKI

This swimsuit is in the exact same style as The Weekender swimsuit (the first Albion suit that made me fall in love) so I already knew I was going to love it before I even tried it on. And a bonus: it’s named after a place in Hawaii! I didn’t really add anything to this “outfit” (except a watermelon and a watermelon float, haha) because I feel like the design is already so fun and bright! Plus it’s the perfect swimsuit for a pool party where you’ll be in the water most of the time anyway!

OUTFIT #4: THE GROVE 

This swim crop converted me to tankinis again. Before I was never really a fan of them because they reminded me of what I used to wear when I was an awkward middle schooler, but Albion made me a believer once again. The lace up ties in the back help you get a perfect fit on your bod and you can pair it with matching hipsters, high-waisted bottoms, or even mix it up with a pair of striped bottoms! I styled this swim set with a straw hat and black lace kimono, to give it that laid back, elegant look.

I had so much fun putting these outfits together and sharing them with you all! The more I’ve gotten to know Albion Fit and what they stand for, the more I’ve fallen in love with their company. You can tell they really care about how we look and feel in our swimsuits and make it their mission for us to feel confident, inside and out!
